In her role as Associate Director of Conservation Programs and Science in the California Chapter, Brynn helps advance conservation and science strategies needed to address some of the biggest conservation challenges. She coordinates and helps align the work of conservation, science and geodesign staff advancing place-based and policy-based strategies across the state. She manages the development and implementation of annual budgets and workplans, human resources and talent development, science grants and dedicated funding, and internal and external communications including the ScienceforConservation.org website.
Before the Conservancy, Brynn worked on environmental health issues as Senior Manager for Science and Education at The Breast Cancer Fund (now Breast Cancer Prevention Partners) and in the U.S. EPA's Office of Enforcement and Compliance Assurance measuring the human health impacts of environmental regulations. She holds an M.P.H from Yale School of Epidemiology & Public Health and an M.E.M from Yale School of Forestry & Environmental Studies. Brynn currently sits on the boards of the Eastern Sierra Land Trust, Golden Bridges School, and the Hidden Valley Elementary School PTO.
